Srilanka`s famous and beautiful widest beach is Passikudah.it is looking very beautiful.Passikudah has clean and clear blue - green colored sea and that is the reason to put this name '' Passikudah '' to this beach.Passikudah is a Tamil word. it`s means in English is Green- Algae-Bay.This beach is most suitable for bathing and swimming.

Passikudah is located in Batticaloa on Eastern Province of Srilanka.It is in 5 km Northeast from Oddamavadi.Nearest villages are Oddamavadi , Valichenai and Kalkudah.Passikudah is easily accessible the cities of Batticaloa and Trincomalee
